We came from LA looking for a place to eat, my friend suggested Mexican food and Casa Calderon came into the places to go: The torta cubana was so good!!! Big, fresh, juicy!!! My friends had a quesadilla, enchiladas and a place of grill chicken. The best! The place was so small but so delicious.

Had to go into Casa Calderon for our fix of chilie reyanos and enchiladas covered in red/ green sauce. Killer green salsa served with fresh chips. Homemade corn tortillas were finger licking delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance warm and inviting. Lots daily specials too. Happy hour a great deal too.

I am learning to try new places to eat. Walk in not very presentable but I will take that back. The food was delicious. Freshly made and the chili was hot and spicy. Usually we have to ask for hot salsa. Chile Verde outstanding. Sope was made the way I like it. Appetizers plate was enough for 5 or 6 people. 5 stars for me. We will be coming back

I used to come here back in 1980. There are new owners and the food is more authentic. Handmade tortillas in quesadillas are absolutely wonderful. Homemade nice and spicy salsa.

This is the best Mexican food around San Gabriel! This older restaurant has been here for decades and the food taste and quality is always great. I love the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The dining area is comfortable and casual and the service is great.
